Data Brokers

Last week, everyone was worried the government was collecting data on everyone. Obviously, has been happening for as long as the credit card has existed, at least.

From personal experience, I know that while Acxiom has data one virtually everyone, it is frequently incorrect in major ways.

Who Is Funding Who?

If somehow there was a free-market component, I have to believe there would be fewer, larger recipient organizations, and that transfer and administration costs would go down, and impact would increase.
